About Me

I'm a senior research fellow in business and organisational psychology at the University of Queensland. I manage a large program of research and industry engagement focused on applying statistical, computational, and mathematical models to improve the health, safety, and performance of people at work. My research aims to understand the dynamics of decision-making, motivation, fatigue, and stress and how these processes affect our performance and mental health. Building on this research, I partner with organisational psychologists, HR teams, and health & safety professionals to translate complex workforce data into actionable, evidence-based insights that solve real-world challenges. My work has been recognised with prestigious DECRA and Future Fellowships from the Australian Research Council and research excellence awards from the Australian Psychological Society, the Australian Mathematical Psychology Society, and the University of Queensland.

You can read more about my research here and my consulting services here. I also occasionally write blog posts about my projects or about analytics more generally, which you can find here.

I'm always interested in discussing how advanced analytics can help managers and organisations make better decisions about their people and policies. Whether you have a specific project in mind, want to explore possibilities, or just want to chat, feel free to email me or reach out on LinkedIn and let's have a conversation.
